| Golfers crossing the ICW |
Left Thoroughfare Creek around 8:15ish. Slow going all day long. The tide was not in our favor. We were lucky if we could go 5 mph. The cruise through Myrtle Beach was very intertaining with all the beautiful homes along the ICW. Finally the tide was in our favor and then we picked up speed...up to 8 mph. Ended up with an anchorage north of Myrtle Beach called "Lightkeepers Marina in Coquina Harbor". It was a beautiful marina and we walked to a local bar and had an ice cold refreshment overlooking the 3 yacht clubs. We hardly had any cell or internet services last night. We also did have a little bit of rain, but nothing like they predicted.
