We left our anchorage @ Chesapeake City around 7:30am. We cruised south down the Delaware River. Thank goodness it was a calm, cloudy day, but there still was lots of freight traffic. It turned out to be a long day...so after 9 hrs and 76 miles later, we arrived @ our anchorage Sunset Lake on Ephraim Island, NJ, just north of Cape May. There was lots of local traffic on the ICW once we turned off the DE River. "Slow Churn" was already anchored. They came over to visit for a couple of hours to share today's journey. We enjoyed a chicken dinner, made in our slow cooker that was ready by the time we anchored. Yum-yum.
