Day #159 - Bay Head, NJ

Well we left our free dock @ 9:45am with the help from our dear friends from "Slow Churn". It was so nice of them to come down and help us take off. We will deeply miss them.
Went through the Point Pleasant Canal and tried to anchor about noon. Well, we anchored once, but the depth and the fast boats in this busy canal, we decided to go back to Bay Head, where we found Katharine and Tubby anchored. Hopefully we will take off early Sat. am and head toward New York via the Atlantic Ocean for 23 miles. This has been a "rocky" anchorage, but the sun was out and almost 70 degrees.

The last week has been so rainy and cold, it was great to see some sunshine :)
