Day #168 - Canajoharie, NY

Yes, Amish people here!

Margo, the tug we became friends with!
We left our beautiful anchorage @ 7:00am heading up toward Locks #7-13. It really is a wonderful lock canal system because one lock will notify the next lock for our arrival. It was really warm and sunny....actually Hot!!! Went up a total of 110 feet today! We arrived @ our "free dock" about 5:15pm and of course, no free electricity, but we're tied up to a floating dock. There is no lock traffic after 5:00 pm, but just trains and interstate traffic! Right now it is 86 degrees in the cabin. We did have a big tug who tied up also behind us. Really not much boat traffic at all on the canal. This was truly a beautiful scenic trip today. Who knows what tomorrow will bring........
