Day #160 - Statue of Liberty

Wow....what a beautiful day! We left our bumpy anchorage around 6:15am. Didn't know that people go out fishing at 3:00am!!!! The Atlantic Ocean was pretty calm, sunny and the baby mackerel were jumping. We were so excited to get to Sandy Hook around 10:00ish and the seas were calm that we continued onward. I was so excited to see the Statue Of Liberty....OMG...She's beautiful. We dropped the hook in a designated anchorage off the waterway, behind the statue. You can't anchor directly behind the Statue Of Liberty anymore. We are so excited to be in a calm anchorage. The trip was very exciting, not worried about water depths on the ocean and hardly any big boat traffic. Amen....
